Dunit Privacy Policy

한국어·English

Last updated: May 11, 2026

Sinabro (the “Company”) establishes and publishes this Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal information of users of its mobile application, Dunit (the “App”). This Policy applies to all users of the App.

1. Information Processed and Purposes of Processing

The data the Company processes through the App is limited to the tasks, schedules, notes, and notification preferences that the user enters within the App. The Company does not collect any information that can identify the user, such as name, email address, phone number, or account credentials. The App does not offer a separate sign-up procedure. The sole purposes of processing the above data are to store the user’s entries on the user’s own device and personal cloud storage, and to enable synchronization across the user’s other devices.

2. Where Data Is Stored

For the iOS version, user data is stored exclusively in the user’s Apple iCloud private database (CloudKit private database). The Company does not operate any backend server and has no access to the content of the stored data. If an Android version is released, the personal cloud storage provided by that platform will be used under the same principles (the developer has no access to the content of the user’s data, and data is isolated within the user’s account); the Company will update this Policy prior to the Android release. For details on data processing by the platform provider, please refer to the Apple Privacy Policy.

3. Retention Period

Data remains in the user’s personal cloud storage until the user deletes it within the App or uninstalls the App. The Company does not maintain a separate copy of user data, and no Company-side retention period applies.

4. Third-Party Disclosure and Processing

The Company does not disclose user data to any third party and does not engage any external processor. User data is, however, stored on the infrastructure of the platform provider that offers the user’s personal cloud storage (Apple Inc. for the iOS version; the corresponding platform provider when the Android version is released). That storage area is managed by the user under the user’s own account, and the Company cannot access or control it.

5. Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

The Company does not embed any in-app analytics SDK, advertising SDK, or external tracking tool in the App. No behavioural data or usage statistics are transmitted to the Company. Where the user has enabled the diagnostic-data sharing setting provided by the operating system (on iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), anonymous, aggregated crash reports may be delivered to the Company; such reports contain no personally identifying information. The Company does not collect any advertising identifier (such as IDFA or Advertising ID).

6. Notifications

The App uses local notifications only (on iOS: UNUserNotificationCenter; the equivalent OS notification system on Android when that version is released). The content of notifications does not leave the user’s device, regardless of whether notification permission has been granted. If remote push notifications are introduced in the future, the Company will update this Policy and provide separate notice.

7. User Rights and How to Exercise Them

The user has the right to access, rectify, delete, and restrict the processing of the user’s own personal information. Because all data in the App resides in personal cloud storage that the user controls, the user may exercise these rights directly through the App or through the operating system’s settings. If a request must be addressed to the Company, please use the contact details set out in Section 12 below.

8. Procedure for Deleting Data

Uninstalling the App deletes the local data on the device. Data that has been synced to personal cloud storage may remain in the user’s account and will reappear if the App is reinstalled under the same account. To permanently delete all data on iOS: Settings → (Apple ID) → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud → Dunit → select “Turn Off and Delete from iCloud”. When the Android version is released, the Company will update this Policy to include the equivalent procedure on that OS.

9. Security Measures

The Company does not retain user data on its own servers, and the likelihood of user data being compromised through infrastructure operated by the Company is therefore minimised. The security of user data is protected by the security policies (such as encryption in transit and at rest) of the cloud operated by the operating system provider.

10. Children Under 14

The Company does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 14 years of age.

11. Changes to This Policy

If this Policy is amended, the Company will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Where the change is material, the Company will provide separate notice through in-app notification or by email.
